Min-Max Consumables and Items

Min-maxing is all about squeezing extra value from consumables, engineering, and niche item swaps. Below is a cleaned-up, structured list focused on practical raid use. Availability and exact behavior can vary by server, so always double-check in-game.

Armor reduction and physical DPS boost

Annihilator — Chance on hit reduces the target’s armor by 200, stacking up to 3 times (total -600). Great when a healer can safely stand in melee and help maintain stacks on burst-friendly bosses.
Crystal Yield — Use effect reduces the target’s armor by 200 for 2 minutes (1 minute cooldown). Extra, easy armor shred for physical-heavy raids.

RNG proc weapon utility

Blackblade of Shahram — Proc summons Shahram and can trigger multiple random effects, including AoE slow, AoE stun, party haste, group health/mana restore, and a stacking all-stats buff.
Your original effect list (kept, translated):
Curse of Shahram: AoE slow
Might of Shahram: AoE stun (~5 sec)
Fist of Shahram: +25% haste to party
Blessing of Shahram: group health/mana regen (20 sec)
Will of Shahram: +50 to all stats (20 sec), stacks up to 5
Flame of Shahram: fire damage proc (~100–150)

Area spell power “circle” burst

Shifting Naaru Sliver — On-use effect gives +320 spell power in a small area around the user for 15 seconds (useful when multiple casters/healers can stand in range).

Anti-undead mini-consumables that stack with most buffs

Scourgebane Draught — +30 attack power versus undead for 30 minutes (commonly from Ghostlands/Tranquillien questlines on many versions).
Scourgebane Infusion — +15 spell power versus undead for 30 minutes.

Potions for burst windows

Potion of Speed — +500 haste rating for 15 seconds. Typical plan: pre-pot before pull, then use your second potion during a trinket proc window or the final burn.
Potion of Wild Magic— +200 spell power and +200 crit rating for 15 seconds. Same pre-pot + burn window idea.

Engineering explosives (bring all three)

Your “why three types?” note is correct in spirit: different sapper charges have different cooldowns, so for fights lasting 2+ minutes it can be worth carrying multiple versions to fit more total uses.
Global Thermal Sapper Charge — Big AoE damage, also damages you.
Super Sapper Charge — AoE damage, also damages you.
Goblin Sapper Charge — AoE damage, also damages you.
P.S. These self-damage explosives are especially spicy for Fury Warriors on some setups because the self-hit can interact with “take damage” procs/talents (server behavior can vary).

Defensive “must-have” for tanks

Indestructible Potion — +3500 armor for 2 minutes. Standard usage: pre-pot before pull; a second use later at the tank’s discretion.

Mana restore tools for healers

Dark Rune — Restores mana at the cost of health.
Runic Mana Injector — Engineering mana injector (strong emergency mana button, engineering required).
Demonic Rune — Same style mana restore at the cost of health.

Pre-pull drink trick + macro

Sulfuron Slammer — Used as a “drink before pull” to roll certain procs (trinkets/enchants) on many servers; then cancel the drunken visuals.

Rogue energy boost

Thistle Tea — Instantly restores 20 energy (cooldown).
Rod of the Sun King — Chance on melee attack to gain 10 Energy or 5 Rage (ICC adds).

Small, short-duration “carry a few” spell power clickies

Cracked Power Core — +15 spell power for 30 seconds (limited carries).
Chipped Power Core — +25 spell power for 30 seconds (2 min cooldown).

Haste / intellect elixir pair (often better than a flask for some specs)

Elixir of Lightning Speed — Battle elixir (haste).
Elixir of Mighty Thoughts — Guardian elixir (intellect).

Party haste trinket

Gnomish Battle Chicken — Can provide a party melee haste buff (Battle Squawk).

Extra pet/trinket utility

Arcanite Dragonling — Engineering trinket that summons a dragonling; niche uses depend heavily on encounter and server tuning.

Other

Mystical Bolt — +300 fire damage applied to the boss.
Flame Cap — Increases Fire spell power and adds a fire proc on hit for a short duration (commonly used for Fire-heavy specs).
Runn Tum Tuber Surprise — +10 Intellect for 10 minutes (stacks with most consumables).
Hearty Rhino — “Well Fed” food that grants armor penetration rating and stamina.
Barbaric Belt — Use: increase Rage by 30 (the “+30 Energy too” part is private-server behavior; in standard DBs it’s Rage only).
Flame Buffet — Increases Fire damage taken; the “+300 fire damage on the boss” is typically 5 stacks of +60 (300 total).
