How to use Holy Paladin macros
Open the in-game Macros window, create a macro and paste the code exactly as shown. Place it on an action bar and bind it to a reachable key. Mouseover macros cast on the unit beneath your cursor, while focus macros preserve the current target for healing or damage.
Beacon of Light and Sacred Shield focus macros are useful for maintaining a tank assignment. Divine Favor and Divine Illumination buttons combine a cooldown with a heal, while Divine Plea and its cancel button give direct control over the mana effect and healing penalty.
Holy Paladin PvE macro tips
Holy Light, Flash of Light and Holy Shock cover different healing windows. Mouseover versions reduce target-switching time, while Beacon of Light and Sacred Shield should be refreshed deliberately on the intended tank or priority target rather than pressed without checking the unit.
Avenging Wrath, Divine Favor, Divine Illumination, Divine Protection and Divine Sacrifice have different purposes. Keep separate options when a cooldown must be reserved for a mechanic, and use Divine Shield, Hand of Protection, Hand of Sacrifice and Lay on Hands carefully because their timing can affect the whole group.
Cleanse, Hand of Salvation, Hand of Freedom, Redemption, Judgement of Wisdom and the aura modifier add important raid utility. Keep these keys reachable and verify the friendly target before using a high-impact support ability.
Compatibility and troubleshooting
These macros target the WoW WotLK 3.3.5a macro system. Private-server clients can differ in protected actions, modifier behavior and target conditions. If a macro fails, test the spell alone, check the target relationship and cooldown, then reload the UI after editing.
Macros cannot decide who needs healing, when to spend Divine Plea or which defensive cooldown is best. Their purpose is to reduce targeting friction so the Holy Paladin can react faster while retaining control over Beacon, mana, support and encounter timing.
