Shaman Restoration PVE Macros

These Restoration Shaman PvE macros are designed for WoW WotLK 3.3.5a and focus on fast mouseover healing, Earth Shield maintenance, emergency cooldowns, interrupts and totem utility. They let the shaman react to raid damage without repeatedly changing targets while keeping Wind Shear, Hex, Purge and key totems easy to reach.

Restoration macros support a reactive healing style, but they do not choose the correct heal or replace encounter awareness. Use the exact spell names from your client, keep valid mouseover and focus targets when required, and test every button on a target dummy or in a safe dungeon before using it in a raid.

How to use Restoration Shaman macros

Open the in-game Macros window, create a macro and paste the code exactly as shown. Place it on an action bar and bind it to a reachable key. Mouseover macros cast on the unit beneath your cursor, while focus macros preserve your current target for healing or damage.

Earth Shield focus is useful for maintaining a tank assignment, and the Nature’s Swiftness buttons provide fast emergency Healing Wave casts. The Purge or Cleanse Spirit macro chooses the spell from the mouseover unit's relationship, but separate utility keys are still useful when timing must be completely explicit.

Restoration Shaman PvE macro tips

Riptide, Lesser Healing Wave, Healing Wave and Chain Heal cover different healing situations. Mouseover versions reduce target-switching time, while Earth Shield should be refreshed deliberately on the player taking the expected damage rather than pressed without checking the target.

Nature’s Swiftness, Tidal Force, Mana Tide Totem and Bloodlust or Heroism are important cooldown tools. Keep them reachable and plan their use around incoming damage, mana requirements and the raid's burst windows. A macro can combine button presses, but it cannot decide whether the cooldown should be held.

Wind Shear, Hex, Purge, Grounding Totem and Tremor Totem provide valuable control and defensive utility. Focus versions are ideal for a caster or priority enemy, while player-targeted totems and Water Shield avoid losing the current healing target.

Compatibility and troubleshooting

These macros target the WoW WotLK 3.3.5a macro system. Private-server clients can differ in focus behavior, totem placement and protected actions. If a macro fails, test the spell alone, verify the target relationship and range, then reload the UI after editing.

Macros cannot decide who needs healing, when to spend Bloodlust or which totem is best for a mechanic. Their purpose is to reduce targeting friction so the Restoration Shaman can react faster while retaining control over spell choice, mana and cooldown timing.
