Warlock Demonology PVE Macros

These Demonology Warlock PvE macros are designed for WoW WotLK 3.3.5a and focus on Metamorphosis timing, demon control, target selection, curses, crowd control and raid utility. They make it easier to coordinate the warlock and active demon while keeping Shadow Bolt, DoT, Life Tap and cooldown decisions under the player's control.

Use the exact spell, item, pet and equipment names from your client. Focus and mouseover macros require a valid target, while pet abilities may need a second press because the demon must be active and in range. Test every macro on a target dummy before using it in a raid.

How to use Demonology Warlock macros

Open the in-game Macros window, create a macro and paste the code exactly as shown. Place it on an action bar and bind it to a key that is easy to reach. The #showtooltip line displays the relevant spell icon and cooldown. Mouseover macros use the unit under your cursor, while focus macros let you control a secondary target without changing your main target.

Pet commands are sensitive to the active demon. Spell Lock requires a Felhunter, Seduction requires a Succubus, and Felguard-specific commands require the appropriate demon to be summoned. Confirm the pet, target and range before relying on a utility macro during an encounter.

Demonology Warlock PvE macro tips

Use Metamorphosis and Demonic Empowerment around the encounter's planned burst window rather than tying every cooldown to one button. Trinkets, glove effects, Blood Fury and pet abilities can have different timing requirements, so keep a separate cooldown key when delaying one effect is beneficial.

Corruption, Immolate, Shadow Bolt and Soul Fire should remain part of a manually controlled priority. Macros can improve target switching and pet response, but they cannot decide when Decimation is active, when Life Tap is safe or when a curse should be replaced for the group.

Demonic Circle, Banish, Fear, Seduction and Spell Lock are valuable encounter tools. Focus versions are useful for controlling a secondary target while continuing to damage the boss, and mouseover versions help apply crowd control without losing your current target.

Compatibility and troubleshooting

These macros target the WoW WotLK 3.3.5a macro system. Spell names, pet abilities and item names must match the language and database of your client, while private-server differences can affect protected actions, pet commands and focus conditions. If a macro fails, test the spell alone, check the active demon, confirm range and reload the UI after editing.

Macros cannot automate the Demonology rotation, bypass the global cooldown or make protected combat decisions. Their purpose is to reduce targeting friction and make demon control, cooldowns, curses and emergency utility more consistent while leaving encounter awareness with the player.
