Druid Feral Bear PVE Guide

This Druid Feral Bear PVE guide gives a compact WotLK 3.3.5a framework for the specialization. The role is tank. Use it as a starting point for level-80 PvE; exact talents, glyphs and item choices can change with raid composition, arena partners, encounter requirements and private-server scripting.

Stats and gearing

A practical priority is: Defense to crit immunity when required by your server/core, then stamina and armor, with hit and expertise supporting threat and reliability. Do not chase a secondary stat while missing a required hit, expertise or defense threshold that your role depends on. Compare full item sets rather than judging upgrades only by item level.

Core gameplay

Keep Faerie Fire (Feral) and your main threat debuffs active, use Mangle on cooldown, fill with Lacerate/Swipe as appropriate, and plan Barkskin, Survival Instincts and Frenzied Regeneration around predictable damage.

Raid priorities

Keep encounter mechanics above the target-dummy rotation. Plan movement so high-value abilities are not delayed, maintain required raid debuffs or utility, and use personal defensives before lethal damage rather than after it. Major offensive cooldowns are strongest when they overlap with Bloodlust/Heroism, trinket procs and encounter phases where you can keep attacking the correct target.

Talents, glyphs and consumables

Keep the existing talent block on the WotLKHelper page and verify that it matches the specific build you want to recommend. Choose glyphs that support the stated rotation or role, and use level-80 flasks, food and potions appropriate to the specialization. When the server has custom itemization or proc behavior, confirm the result in logs rather than assuming every original-3.3.5a ranking remains identical.

Practice the priority on a target dummy or in easier content, then review logs for uptime, missed casts, cooldown timing and avoidable downtime. A clean execution with correct mechanics is more valuable than copying a build without understanding why each stat and cooldown is used.
