BNetToast adds Battle.net-style toast popups that slide in whenever your friends or guildmates come online or go offline, giving WotLK 3.3.5a a more modern social notification feel. It also hooks into the Friends frame with a small broadcast box so you can quickly send the same message to all online friends.
How to use:
Install and enable the addon, then just play as normal—online/offline changes for friends (and often guildies) will appear as small toasts near the top of the screen. Open your Social window (O by default) and use the broadcast input at the top of the friends list to type a message and press Enter to whisper it to all online friends at once.
