InspectEquip adds a panel to the inspect window that lists a character’s gear sorted by source (raid, vendor, crafted, PvP, etc.), giving a quick overview of where each item comes from. It also adds detailed source information to item tooltips, including raid and boss names, difficulty, vendor prices, reputation requirements and, in many WotLK builds, the character’s average item level.
How to use:
Inspect another player (or open your own character window in some forks) to see the InspectEquip panel next to their gear, then hover items to view the extra source info in the tooltip; if supported in your version, type /inspectequip to open the addon’s configuration panel.
