Buff icons on nameplates
PlateBuffs adds selected buff and debuff icons to supported enemy nameplates. Configure the spell list and icon position, then approach a target whose aura can be observed. The nameplate icon should appear with the aura duration, giving a quick answer during a tank, PvP or crowd-control decision.
Only spells represented by the package and visible through the client aura API can be tracked. A missing icon can mean the spell is not in the configured list, the nameplate is out of range or the target has no recognized aura. PlateBuffs adds information to the nameplate; it does not apply the buff or debuff.
Start with the one or two buffs that change the next decision, such as a crowd-control break or defensive effect. A large list hides durations and is harder to use than a focused nameplate display.
Limit the tracked spell list to effects that change the next action. The addon depends on nameplate and aura visibility, so a missing icon can mean the target is out of range or the spell is not configured.
